It applies only to our online activities and to visitors to this website. It does not apply to information collected offline, or on any channel other than this website.

Information we collect

When we ask you for personal information, we make clear at that point what we are asking for and why.

If you contact us through the enquiry form or the project calculator, we receive what you send us: your name, your email address, the message, and the selections you made. If you arrived from a campaign link, we also receive the campaign parameters described below.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

Detect and prevent abuse of our forms

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not serve advertising on this website.

Log files

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard log data: IP address, browser type, internet service provider, date and time, referring pages and the pages visited. This is not linked to anything personally identifiable and is used for operating the service and diagnosing faults.

Cookies and local storage

We keep this deliberately small:

A NEXT_LOCALE cookie remembers whether you are reading the site in English or French.

Campaign parameters (utm_source and similar) from the link you arrived on are kept in your browser's session storage, so that if you send an enquiry we can see which campaign it came from. This is cleared when you close the tab and is never read by anyone but you until you submit a form.

A service worker caches pages so the site keeps working on a poor connection. It stores site content, not information about you.

Processors we use

Some parts of the site rely on third parties, each of which receives only what that function needs:

Vercel hosts the website and provides aggregate, cookie-less traffic analytics.

Web3Forms delivers the contact and calculator forms to our inbox. It receives what you type into those forms.

Google Analytics reports aggregate website traffic. Google's own practices are described on the Google Privacy & Terms page.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict or stop processing it, object to our processing of it, or ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation.

If you are in California, the CCPA additionally gives you the right to know what categories of personal data we have collected, to request its deletion, and to direct us not to sell it — we do not sell it in any case.

Children's information

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with such information, contact us and we will remove it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The revised version takes effect when it is published on this page, and the effective date above is updated accordingly.
